I was in love with athletics. Maybe too much... Sports were a true escape from life predicaments and stresses.

I would see in elementary school that pro athletes trained in commercials to improve, so of course, I copied.

I vividly remember having a goal of 10 pushups in gr. 6.

I also participated in very cringy youtube videos, teaching me how to get “shredded” using bodyweight.

That was the catalyst. I was told about Goodlife’s free summer memberships for teens, I was all in.

Gr. 7 and I was navigating a weight room... An absolutely atrocious sight. Nobody deserves to be that lost. Honestly one of the saddest endeavours one has to witness.

I was immediately going to rip bicep curls. That is what a strong man does, isn't it?

I see a big dude benching 135. I dart that direction of course. Completely reactive. My subconscious taking over, no thoughts of my own at this point.

The bench is empty, and this dude made it look easy! What could go wrong!?

This was from a post of mine showing my client nailing Olympic lifts after months of hard work.

THE REAL SECRET

.

.

Patience + Persistence + Consistency = Mega results. K.I.S.S

The acronym at the end stands for Keep It Simple Stupid. Do not get fancy with your tools for success.

Thanks for reading!
